Suggest Treatment For Fever After Vaccination
hello Doc,
My 15 month old son was giver MMR vaccine on wednesday/22 AUG ,now he has fever since thursday , highest thermometer reading was 100.2 F , but inspite off giving him medicine ( crocine drops ) the body temp is not becoming normal and maintaning 99.6 F. Pls advice

HI...99.6F is not to be treated as fever. In kids of this age, only temperature of more than 100 or 101F is to be dealt as fever. Please do not worry. Vaccination fever will settle in 48-72 hours.
