hi doctor, my baby is passing motions almost 10 times a day for the past 2 days. motion is yellow and green in colour. he is 2 months 4 weeks old. his weight is 5.5kgs.because of loose motions his skin around anus has turned red. the pain due to reddishness is making him uncomfortable

Thanks for the query.
I would like to ask you some questions like is there any fever, vomiting or loose stool, top fed.
If any of above is present then only you will have to give the medicine.
Otherwise simply give probiotics, apply siloderm cream on perianal region.
If problem persists see your doctor and get his stool routine microscopy done.

Give him ORS solution quarter of a cup for every loose stool
Probiotic sachet like darolac, half sachet twice. daily
Coconut oil application or diaper cream will help soothe the perianal rash
