Suggest Treatment For Fecal Impaction
5 feet, 7 inches. 130 lbs. 74 yeas age. I had severe fecal impactation on Sunday, Monday... Monday evening was able to clear it by reaching in and removing a bit of softened feces... did that twice...then was able to discharge feces... But since then, a clear slightly sticky gel like substance from anus. Anything I can do?

You can take polyethylene glycol for fecal impaction it will soften the stool and reduce impaction . and will prevent future impactions if taken regularly. Alternatively a manual digital evacuation canbe done by your doctor
