Suggest Treatment For Fatty Lever
my son has to have liver test cause his spleen is enlarged and has fatty liver they are to go through his neck he is in pain a lot but scared of the test . If they mess up and hit something it could be bad but if he don t take test it still could be bad. They are to put needle in his neck to take a piece of his liver.what is best what could be his problem.

its better to do following test before heading towards liver biopsy:
1. Liver function test 2. Fibroscan (kappa value)
3. serum Albumin 4. PT and aPTT
AVOID fat-rich food ,spicy food, high salt intake, smoking and alcohol.
furthermore, "biopsy of liver" (to take liver tissue) is done by penetrating needle through the thoraco-abdomen region, NOT through neck. So NO need to worry.
