Suggest Treatment For Fatigue, Headache And Nosebleeds

My daughter just called with symptoms of headache, nosebleeds, fatigue. She is in college living in Arizona. she doesn t drink alcohol and says she is drinking a ton of water. Tylenol not helping headaches. Nose bleeds stop in about 5 minutes with pressure. Nose bleeds are early morning each morning before she wakes up. She says this has been happening for the last month. She is active playing sand volleyball and hiking outside. She also worksout a couple times a week inside a gym.

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have fatigue, headache and nosebleeds . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query infection , trauma, hypertension , use of blood thinning medications and alcohol abuse . But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are either due to hypertension or sinusitis .Other possibilities may include allergic rhinitis and common cold that you can rule out by yourself.

I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper diagnosis . Doctor may check vitals , may order ECG , TMT and complete blood profile . Doctor may prescribe betablockers , diuretic or calcium channel blockers . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist or ENT specialist . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and take steam thrice a day . Also apply ice pack to nose .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes,
