Suggest Treatment For Fatigue And Severe Neck Pain

went to er last night with extreme fatigue and severe neck pain that has been getting worse for a month. they found a 4.2 cm mass on my thyroid. er dr sent me to family dr this morning to be sent to a surgeon and thyroid specialist saying i needed it removed and checked immediately. family dr refused and is running the same tests that the er did last night and those arent scheduled for 15 more days. im in a lot of pain and honestly scared of this. Does this mass need removed before then and how can i get into a specialist and surgeon without my family dr's reference?

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is thyroid lesion then this need to be confirmed the type of lesion this could be cyst, infection, swelling, imaging study is must to rule out these, and would be manage accordingly in short this is all depends the underlying pathology, thyroid function test would be necessary too, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
