Suggest Treatment For Eye Swelling Post An Injury

last nite fell and cut the upper part of the left side of my head received 5 stickes. This moring I woke up and the eyelet is swollen and the whole eye is black and blue though it looke purple . hospital said no concussion and mri came out negative. Why did my eye swell up like that I think the cut might have been at least 1-2 inches away from the eye. There was also a big knob where the stiches were put.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this was the soft tissue injury and lacerated wound then such swelling is very likely to happens, if the MRI study is normal one then no need to worry about this, let the wound heal and it will be okay, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
