Suggest Treatment For Eye Infection

i have a 13 day old baby. when he was 3 days old he took an infection in his eyes. iv been treating it with chloramphenicol eye drops for 7 days now. the discharge hasnt cleared up but is a lot less than was. is ther anything else i could try to get it cleared up completely.

you have already started chloromycitin. it appears the organism is resistant to the drug. that means you have to change the antibiotic like ofloxacin.3% twice and neosporine eye ointment at night. maintain hygiene and clean the discharge with sterile swab.
