Suggest Treatment For Extreme Chills, Hot Flashes, Fever, Headache And Fatigue

22yr old, extreme chills, followed by extreme overheating, temp 102 with Tylenol. Tonsils touching, red, small white spots, but strep swab was negative. Trip to ER on Sunday was listed as viral pharyngitis, but symptoms are severe, Is able to drink hot tea, no n&v, no diarrhea, ... two hours he is so hot, next two hours shaking and freezing even with electric blanket. Weak, fatigue..headache, aches all over. Flu? do we just stay the course of treating the symptoms?

I really appreciate your concern, chances of allergic condition with viral infection and this is nothing to worry, because once the course of disease overs every thing would be fine soon, try to be patience, you may continue the symptomatic treatment, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
