Suggest Treatment For Excess Salivation In The HIV Patient

Hi, I am male37 yrs old 5feet & 1 inch height with 128 lbs weightI just recently diagnosed hiv+ and now in 2 weeks of theraphy lamivudive, zidovudine & efavirenz. I am in trouble of excessive salivation that caused too much discomfort at night plus the GI. I have been suffering from excecssive salivation prior to my HIV+ diagnosis but it was already subside moderately for some medications but it occurs again extremely upon taking hiv therapy. Please i need your help i am in trouble day and night due to excessive salivation. Been to ENT yesterday but seen no problem. Please help. Thank you

I really appreciate your concern and I would like to say that if this is excessive salivation with the history of HIV positive then this could be fungal infection of oral cavity and in my opinion this need to be ruled out, and this is nothing to worry every thing would be fine soon because you are on retroviral therapy so need to worry, take care and have a nice day.
