Suggest Treatment For Erythema Multiforme In A 13 Years Old Child

My daughter age 13 has erythema multiforme minor. This is her second day on her 4th time in 3 years. Is there any preventative? Would an antiviral med work? She gets most of the blister/rash on her face. I tried acyclovir, but apparently it was 5 bumps too late when she took the pill. I know it is about a 2 week process, so we are prepared for that. I just want to know if there is anything we can do?
