Suggest Treatment For Enlarged Thyroid And Lump Under Armpit
I have an enlarged thyroid that goes up the right side of my neck, blood tests for TSH and TSA came back as normal. I also have a lump under my right armpit that comes and goes. I was diagnosed with Graves' 15 years ago but medication brought everything under control. Blood preasure is high at 149/105. Any ideas?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have graves disease. Your TSH is under control but it is due to medication. You have thyroid enlargement. You may have multinodular goitre or adenoma or some cyst or tumor. You should go for ultrasound thyroid as well as fine needle aspiration cytology. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
For blood pressure you need antihypertensive drugs like losartan or atenolol according to advice.
Axillary lump may be reactive lymphnode. you should take antibiotics treatment. If it remains persistent after treatment then biopsy diagnosis is advisable.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
