Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of hypertensive heart failure is more.
Heart failure causes fluid retention in the body. This fluid when accumulate in lungs, it is known as pulmonary edema.
So you should definitely follow these.
1. Fluid intake should be less than 1.5 liters per day.
2. Strict salt restrictions in diet.
3. Avoid oily and fatty food.
4. Take diuretics so that excess body fluid can be removed from body via urine.
5. Strict control of hypertension through drugs is also needed. So consult your doctor and start appropriate antihypertensive drugs.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
