Suggest Treatment For Enlarged Adenoids And Deviated Septum

Hi Doctor Hope your day is going fine. I have a 16 year old male teen that was confirmed today that has enlarged adenoids and a deviated septum. According to the ENT not too bad of a deviation. But she gave us the greenlight of having Adenoidectomy and turbinate coblation. Will those 2 procedures help reduce the snoring at night and the green mucus he constantly spits out of his mouth? Or will we have to do the deviated septum to help too? This has been an issue since 5 years old or so! Please consult back with us. Thank You

hello

I am doing fine , hope your day is going good too.The adenoidectomy will definitely reduce the snoring and mucus production.I have not examined him , so i dont know how much is the deviation of the septum , if however it is mild deviation , then i dont think he will need a septal surgery and adenoidectomy will suffice.

Take care
