Suggest Treatment For Elevated SGOT Levels

Hi Doctor,
I am 33 Years old. I had Hepatitis B about 12 Years ago(in the year 1999). Recently I got my health check up results. The result showed elevated values for SGOT(57), Alkaline Phosphatase(182) and GGT (200). I drink daily about 180 ml and sometimes 375ml. These results are about 1 month old. Today I have finally decided to give up drinking. Please advise.

Hi welcome to HCM...

Noted your enzymes are elevated .....
You have diagnosed with chronic hepatitis b infection....

Alcohol can affect your liver....
It will lead to hepatocytes injury....
So it is better to avoid alcohol....
Gradually decrease daily alcohol drinking and finally stop alcohol....

Meanwhile take some good lifestyles habit like low fat diet taken....
Green leafy vegetables more....
Fruits more....
Refined food restricted....
Some good food for liver and taken like....
-carrot
-spinach
-turmeric powder
-onion
-beet roots
-Indian gooseberry

Avocados help in producing glutathione which help in eliminating toxin from liver....

Regular follow up needed for any complication like cirrhosis if developed...
Also measures your HBV DNA and hbeag to determine about active phase .
If in active phase antiviral drug needed....

Take care.
