Hello dear
Understand your concern
Echogenic cystic lesion in the uterus mainly suggest the fibroid. It is the benign smooth muscle tumor of uterus. Treatment will depend on the size, site and symptoms of fibroid.
If you have pain , infections and excessive vaginal bleeding then you should require treatment.
You have to consult the gynecologist.
As size is small, first medical drug can be used.
Drugs like: danazole, mifepristone, Oral contraceptive pill,GNRH analogue.
Take painkiller like ibuprufen relieve pain.
Foul smell discharge may be due to the infection that should be diagnosed by vaginal swab test , CBC and urine report.
Infection can be treated by the proper antibiotics and maintain proper pelvic hygiene.
Regular follow up required to know the progress of size.
D & C should be done regularly to rule out the cancer of endometrium
If size will gradually increased then it should be removed by the surgery.
Hope this may help you
