Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain

My daughter (Age 3 years 4 months ) is suffering ear problem. She is suffering Bad smell & eaching problemnder in the ear from last 2-3 months. she has been treatment under an ent speciallist last 2 months, but could not satisfactory result. Please advise

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that hearing problem, ear ache along with bad smell is an indication of ear infection..

I would suggest you to consult an ENT surgeon and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy, x ray, MRI etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

She can be advised to take a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, anti inflammatory painkillers like Advil and along with it analgesic and antibiotic eardrops can be advised..
In case if there is fluid accumulation surgical drainage can be advised..
Avoid excess water exposure like swimming.
You should also avoid picking the ears to prevent injury to eardrum..
