Hi, I went for a run this morning and when I was near finishing I felt my ear drum feel lose, I didnt think of much and finish. Now that I am home and rested my head I feel that it is dangling around my ear. I dont feel pain but it sounds like a thundering noise. I heard it can heal with a couple of months but how can I take care of it? Do I need to go to a doctor and know how serious it is?
hello, thanks for your query, ringing in ear( tinnitus) could be due to impacted cerumen, et tube block( eusthacian tube connects ear and nose), or ear drum perforation or ossicles( middle ear bones) distruption. kindly evaluate with an ent surgeon. hope I have answered your query. all the best. take care
