Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain ear ache can occur due to a number of causes like acute and chronic ear infection, excess earwax formation, perforated ear drum, foreign body impaction inside the ear etc..

In case if he has excess wax buildup in the ear then removal of wax by using wax softeners and using specialized instrument to remove ear wax can help in easing pain..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy, x ray, MRI etc..
In case of ear wax accumulation removal of the wax followed by anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen will relieve..

In case if there is infection antibiotic and analgesic ear drops along with oral antibiotics can be advised..

As of now you can give her Tylenol or Ibuprofen to relieve pain..

Secondly along with antibiotics he should also take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen for relieving pain..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
