my wife is 37 years old and she is on insulin of 39 units daily.. she had sore throat and cough.. she had pain in her left ear last week, which became ok.. now today she complaining of severe ear pain and cough in the night.. what could be the immediate remedy.. thanking you..

ear pain is due to throat infection.
start penicillin antibiotics for a weak .
along with antihistamines bed time .
steam inhalations and salt water gargling helps to relieve ur symptoms
