Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain And Cold

I ve been sick with a cold for a while I ve been laying in bed all 2 days and I wake up and my left ear feels like it s loose it hurts when I blow With my nose closed I hear a little poping when I poke in my ear it hurts to I haven t really went that deep at all though and I cab still hear witch is a good sign right??

I understand your query.
There is a small tube joining nasal passage( nasopharynx) & middle ear called eustachian tube. Due to cold there is congestion /swelling of nasal passage.Which some times causes congestion / blockage of of eustachian tube also- resulting in painful /sore ear, pooping while blowing blocked nose .
One should never poke in ear, for there is risk of injuring eardrum/ infection /middle ear infection & deafness.
Treatment of ear pain with cold -
-anti cold drug like Cynarest tablet( anti allergic+ pain killer+ decongestant), to be taken twice a day after food.Antibiotic is added if there is fever/ secretions are thick,yellow,green
- Steam inhalation twice a day helps by lessening congestion/obstruction of the eustachian tube - relieving pain.
- Ear drops & nasal drpos help by acting locally.
- consult ENt doctor in case there is discharge through ear.
