Hello
Welcome in H.C.M.
I have gne through your query regarding
ear discharge and ringing in ear. As you said initially you were having
chest infection and you don't taken any medication for it and after one weak your right ear get blocked and you felt it as some water is inside.
Your above clinical history is favouring that your infection had reached to ear via eustachian tube and as soon as infected collection get accumulated in ear you felt it like water in ear. Later this collected fluid start comming out through a hole in ear drum. This entire pathology is responsible for giving ringing in ear.
Before treatment you should do these basic investigations-
1- X-Ray chest.
2- Pure tone
audiometry.
3- Impedance audiometry.
4- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab and ear discharge.
After this much a thorough examination of your respiratory system and ear is must to gather some important facts about diagnosis and management. No doubt your problem will be manage by
ENT specialist but till you are waiting for specialist you may take-
A- Steam inhalation.
B-
Mucolytic and decongestant.
C- Keep ear clean and dry (don't put any
ear drop).
D- Antibiotic (preferably broad spectrum).
Probably above suggesstion will help you, but try to make arrangement for consultation with ENT specialist.
Regards.
