Suggest Treatment For Ear And Sinus Infection

My 18 year old daughter went to an Urgent Care Center yesterday for extreme pain due to a ear and sinus infection. Her ear drained blood and a brown fluid discharge. She is in no pain today as I think the prescribed antibiotics have kicked in. Is this normal and or should I take her back to a doctor?
