Suggest Treatment For Dryness On Hair, Skin And Nails

I am 69 in Dec and for sometime now I have been experiencing dryness in my hair skin and nails. As well as dry eyes. I am on adalat and cozzar 100 mg for my blood pressure. Would this be side effects I am on Crestor and meds for acid reflux and librax for IBS. Also Effexor 150 for stress

Hi. As you grow older, your skin becomes less active in releasing fatty substances in sebum. As a result, skin becomes dry. All you need to do is using a good moisturizer frequently say 4 to 5 times a day and especially after bath. Also, use syndet based soaps only. Avoid hot water for bath. If you wish, you can use lukewarm water, but avoid hot water. Drying of eyes is another issue and you need to consult an eye specialist for it. Hope it answers your queries.
