Suggest Treatment For Dryness Of Throat, Insomnia/nightmare And Fatigue

Hi, I am 46 yrs old lady, suffering from mild depression. I visited a doc. and he prescribed nexito plus, sizodon , clonotril and Lorel 1 mg daily one at bed time. I felt better but within 2 weeks i started swelling of my limbs(edima)slight sugar problem and weight gain. I referred this to the doc and he prescribed stablon and lesure2 tab. and asked to discontinue sizodon and nexito plus. I began the new course but once again I have dryness of throat, insomnia/nightmare and fatigue. Please tell me what should I do?

Sizodon is known to cause weight gain and may affect blood sugar. Nexito (Escitalopram) is not likely to be the culprit. Escitalopram is the front line antidepressant, usually the first choice.
Since you had responded to the Escitalopram (along with other medicines), you may go back to doctor and check if you can get back on Escitalopram.
Nexito plus has Escitalopram plus clonazepam. Clonotril too is Clonazepam. Lorel is lorazepam. Both clonazepam and lorazepam belong to benzodiazepine group. You may check with your doctor, whether you can continue on only one of the two medicines.
I hope this is helpful.
