Suggest Treatment For Dryness In Eyes

I suffer from extreme dry eye syndrome. Last week, I took my contacts out of my eye without wetting my lenses first, and my eye started hurting. The next day, it felt like something was in my eye (like an eyelash) so I looked and noticed a clear looking small bump on the white part of my eye. Today, I my eye started feeling again like something was in it. I looked at my eye again and there were two more similar bumps. What could this be? Is this an emergency?
