Suggest Treatment For Dry Throat

Dry throat. Worse at night to the point where I wake up coughing and choaking. Lots of mucus in the back of my throat in the morning. Felt tired and my voice was horse all day today. What can I do to sleep better and relieve the extreme dryness in my throat?

hi,
Mucous in your throat could be due to post nasal discharge secondary to sinus infection..when lots of mucus produced..we obviously feel dry ..so i recommend a course of antibiotic tab levofloxacin 500mg once a day after food for five days and tab cetirizine 5 mg with ambroxol 60 mg combination twice daily after food..steam inhalation..
