Hi welcome to HCM... You have not mentioned any investigation here .... Any cough more than three week should be evaluated through digital chest x ray to rule out bronchitis or pneumonia like condition..... Here your auscultation also done along with physical examination ... If bronchitis there spirometry done to asssese severity and accordingly management.... If bronchocobstriction there nebulization with ipratropium bromide might needed ... If more inflammation short term steroid used ... Sputum cytological examination sounds useful in such case ....
