Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough , Breathlessness And Chest Pain

This is for a school project in consumer science. This is a play child it is an newborn infant having difficulty breathing, deep dry cough, pain in chest or abdomen not unusual, vomiting may occur. We need a diagnosis and if any medicine is to be subscribed.

I can understand your concern.
Deep cough, chest pain and breathlessness are commonly seen in lung infection (pneumonia) and bronchitis. So the child in the play might have pneumonia or bronchitis.
You need to consult pulmonologist for that child.
Child will need
1. Chest x ray
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
Chest x ray is needed to rule out pneumonia.
PFT is needed to rule bronchitis. Based on the diagnosis, the child will need antibiotics or inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
