Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It is not clear which particular drug you are referring to. You can suspect drug abuse if you notice a change in one's behavior which cannot be explained otherwise. For treatment, the first thing that needs to be done is to make the person aware of the the harms associated with drug abuse and to motivate them to quit. They can then be taken to an addiction medicine specialist for further help.

Best wishes.
