I have been experiencing double vision on and of for nearly two years. It is gradually becoming more frequent and last longer. I thought it was form staring at a computer screen. But now it happens while driving down the road, sitting in church, resting at home, or working in the shop. NO headaches but I have had a tramatic spinal cord injury at T11-L2. A benign tumor was removed from the thecal sac at L2 several years ago. I do have a colestoral level which is fairly high due to high fat lifetime diet. Also have slight blood pressure at the bottom of the high scale. I take 50 mg Attenolol and 80 mg Pravistatin. Recently had youngest child who was killed in an automobile accident in an impaired (heroin) driver incident.
computer vision syndrome does not give diplopia. it can be anisometropia and phoria or ambliopia in one eye. refraction is to be done ocular muscle movment is to be tested and cover test is to be done.other problems are to be tackled separatly since they are not related to diplopia.
