Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, Imbalance Issues And Back Pain

I am 73 years old, ,5/6,120lbs and in very good health. Very addictive. Work in yard. I do take medication but I see my doctors on a regular basis. About 2 months ago I past out and was taken to the ER. They found nothing wrong with me and I was sent home. I remember nothing of going to the ER. However I had to have a MRI because my back hurt.(I had been putting it off for about 6 months. I pick up heavy things) I found out. that my left Lomba disc 4&5 have pulled apart.I m now wareing a soft brace when standing. When I m to get up in the morning I can not be leave the pain. But most of the time I m OK. After reading somethings tonight I feel like the dizziness is caused by my ears. I can only sleep on one side of my head and now it s hurting. The past few days I ve really had a problem with dizziness and balance. I almost fell in the bathroom but I grabbed on to the Vanity. I have a Ear Nose &Throat doctor but I do not want to go to him. Old friend, know him all my life--- need new eyes to look at me. I look forward to healing from you

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

I read carefully your question and would explain that the dizziness and headaches could be related to an inner ear disorder. There is no connection of these symptoms with the lumbar back pain.
Coming to this point, the best thing to do is consulting with an ENT specialist (like your friend or another specialist of this field). A brain MRI may be needed too.

Hope to have been helpful!

Best wishes, Dr. Aida
