For the past several weeks, I am having a discomfort with my abdominal hernia, I ve had it for a very longtime, however, here recently, I am experiencing discomfort when I sleep at night, it feels as if something is burning, so I put a pillow under my abdomen so it won t pull down, I can t eat very much, because it get real hard and tight around the abdomen, sometimes I want to just bend over, because my abdomen feels as if is pulling down, what should I do besides going to the doctor?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
Well, you should see a surgeon since these signs may be suggestive of threatening incarceration and in this case surgery is required. Hernia can only grow and it will not resolve on its own. Surgery is the only solution especially if this is big.

I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
