Hello thanks for asking from HCM

You have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and have trouble in sleeping. Trazodon 300 was working but later it caused vomiting and doses were reduced to 150 mg and Ambien or Zolpidem was prescribed. Now with these drugs you are not able to sleep. As you have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia so pain due to this could be a reason for poor sleep. Medicines like Duloxetine, Venlafaxine etc can help in good sleep. Both these medicines can help in reducing the symptoms of fibromyalgia and can help you in sleeping.

For some time medicines like Mirtazapine can be used. The drug will help in maintaining sleep and will reduce the symptoms of anxiety due to fibromyalgia. Low dose benzodiazepines can also help. Consult your psychiatrist for prescription of these drugs.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
