Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Breathing And Swallowing

Do you need to go to the doctor for a possible broken rib? I have never had one but took a hard blow to my left side rib cage.. It hurts to breathe and very uncomfortable when I move? I have no insurance right now, I also took several blows to my head, primarily on the right side of my ear, face, temple, back and side of my head.. My throat hurts, as I was grabbed by it, held down, hit and choked.. My throat hurts, hurts to swallow and I have bruising there as well as my face.

Hello

Thank you for posting at HCM.

It looks like you have suffered multiple injuries and in such case extensive investigations are required to rule out major injuries. Though you may be feeling better now, the pain and severeness increases over time in such cases.

Therefore it is always advisable to visit an ER after such incidents. Your doctor may ask you for an XRay chest, CT Brain, XRay Neck etc to check for any fractures or concussions.

We advise you to take any NSAID you have for now, and immediately visit a well equipped ER to get yourself treated well so that this doesn't cause any problem in future.

Wish you all the best

thanks
