Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea?

I have been going thru opiate withdrawl its been a week im fine other then last two days bad stomach cramps and diarrhea then I took laxatives cause I felt like I was bloated from the opiates and had to get the excess out but now my diarrhea is orange and oily looking like a bright orange any idea. I was thinking maybe my stomach is empty. Or it is backed up and there some blockage in the intestines because I didn't poop normally while on opiates. Thanks

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Opiate withdrawal is a tricky thing. The appearance of bloating, taking laxatives and having orange and oily looking thins can be due to the following:
Opiates are known to cause fecolith formation and impaction can lead to obstruction and appearance of such a stool that you have mentioned.
Another reason can be intususception.
Hence you need to consult a Surgeon in ER immediately for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations like :
X-ray of the abdomen in standing position.
CT scan if required.
These will give an idea about the possible cause and guide for proper treatment such as Barium enema if intususception is expected.
Do not take anything unless asked by the Nurse or a Doctor.
Do not take any medication on your own.
