Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea
respected sir , my brother in law is suffering from continu loose
motions from last 4-5 days .his problem started with pain killer
and antibiotic amoxicilline,after dental treatment,no of motions were
1 st day 30/ 2nd day 20/3ed day 15/4th day 12 and today 9.he is admitted in in a hospital since 4 days .given him injectable flagyl,
antibiotic ciplox inj both three in 16 hurly with sporlck powder/
now his motions are with one vomite /he is not eating food etc
food is given by drip na/p/k etc.now his knees has been blck
and he is unable to stand and walk .knees are some hot .kindly give me your valuable openion that what i should do now same

There is a possibility of reactive arthritis in this condition if loose stool caused by campylobactor, echoli.
Echoli cause Hus which lead to haemohhgic complications and renal failure.
Campylobactor, salmonella, shigella induced loose stools cause joint pain and swelling with in one month.
Send stool for culture and microscopic examination. You can use tab. Rifaximine 200 mg thrice a day. Cap. Doxy 100 twice a day. Tab. Sporulac thrice a day.
Please consult your rheumatologist and physician if symptoms not improved.
