Hi Doctor My baby is 6 months and 20 days old. He is Having loose motion on alternative days from last 15 days. But From last 4 days he is having loose motion 4-5 times a day. Initially I gave him ORS but there was no control in loose motion. Doctor advised for stool test which showed result as Color = Greenish Consistency = Loose Mucus = Nil Blood = Nil PH = Alkaline Reducing substances = .............. Microscopic Examination:- OVA = Nil. /H.P.F Cyst = Nil. /H.P.F Trophozoites = Nil. /H.P.F Pus cells = 6-8 /H.P.F RECs = 0-1. /H.P.F Undigested materials = + /H.P.F Others = Nil. /H.P.F Doctor has given the medicine now. Baby is on breastfeeding I am not giving him any food. I was about to start but due to loose motion doctor advised not to start yet. Is there anything serious. Does my eating effect the baby. What should I eat and not to eat. I am asking this because my baby is having loose motion sometimes after every 2-3 days, sometimes after every 4-5 days, sometimes after every 10-15 days. This is happening from last 4 months. I don t know what to do. Kindly advice. Thanks.
