Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea, Fever And Black Stool

I just returned from the south of France after a 3 week visit 2 days ago. On the flight home, I came down with diarrhea. The next day a fever spiked at 102 and the diarrhea continued unabated. The fever started peeled back today and I started to feel better. However, I just produced a black stool for the first time and I m concerned.

when blood mixes with digestive juices it results in black coloured stools..
that blood may be due to gastritis, oesophageal ulcer, upper GI bleeding..

once go for upper gi endoscopy for further evaluation..
