Suggest Treatment For Dermoid Cyst And Blister On Eye
My 9 yr old daughter (71lbs) has a dermoid cyst on the left eye since birth with no vision on that eye. Now she developed another Cyst like a blister on top of the dermoid and the doctor now wants to go in and removed the entire eye.
I would like to get a 2nd opinion. If is time to remove the eye, I would like the best doctor to do it because we were under the impression that as soon as we removed the eye we were done with the dermoid but, now the doctor said no because, all the dermoid roots are mixed with the rest of her head organs. He is talking about using a type of shell to keep the dermoid from pushing the prosticies out.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated it!

it is blind eye only way is to remove it it is of noway beneficial tokeepit. it may spread further.it can be probability after removal give her a prosthetic eye.
