Suggest Treatment For Depression

I am 40, 5 2 and 70kg. I have severe depression and have attempted suicide many times recently, I have just been discharged after 3 months in psychiatric hospital but am still suicidal. Would an overdose of nitrazepam and paracetamol kill me, and in what dosage?

Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

I understand that you are going through a very difficult time. You have expressed that you are feeling very suicidal. This is likely to be due to your unresolved depressive illness.

Since you appear to be extremely distressed and suicidal, I would advise you to seek help urgently. I would suggest that you call up your local suicide help line. or please share your feelings with someone close to you and ask them to take you to the ER to get immediate help. Effective treatment is available for your depression and once your depression is controlled, your suicidal thoughts will subside. So, don't hesitate to ask for immediate professional help.

Wish you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Jonas Sundarakumar
