• Place ice on the most painful area of the foot for 20 minutes and is effective. This can be done 3 or 4 times a day.
• Take tab.
nimesulide 100mg twice daily for pain relief.
• Get a custom orthotic (shoe insert) which will effectively minimize the pressure from prominent bones in your feet. It will not be able to correct the shape of your foot but will certainly decrease the pain and further
deformity. Many patients have well responded to it.
After these above measures, if you still experience significant pain, you may need a
steroid shot.
