Suggest Treatment For Cut On Lip

My almost 2 yr old slipped and fell onto the couch. She hit her lower lip. The bleeding has stopped completely. She has a cut on the inside below her lip, just about 0.5 cm in length. The edges are not together, though. Does this need a stitch or will it heal on its own?

thanks for your query, the cut wound can be approximated and sutured for early healing and to prevent secondary infection..consult a oral physician and get it checked once...maintain oral hygiene..do saline gargling.. i hope my answer will help you..take care..
