Suggest Treatment For Coughing With Blood During Pregnancy

I am eleven weeks pregnant and Saturday, my husband and I were in a car accident. I felt fine after,but the past three days I've been so sleepy all day and I have a constant cough, which is blood. I have a doctor's appointment today. I just wondered what to expect. What could it be? Thank you.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion repeated and forceful coughing might injure the throat leading to mucus admixed with blood.But if it is frank blood then it might not be simple infection.Mucus admixed with blood is routinely seen in respiratory tract infection.Dont worry.
