Suggest Treatment For Cough With Breathing Difficulty

Hi, Doctor I would like to seek your advice for my daughter 18yrs away from home in hostel studying medicine suffering from Broncile tend to have throat allergies very fast do have tendency of Balgam formation, long cough bad throat etc but do not have breathing saffocations intially. Doctor suggest for MDI Seroflo 125M(2puffs BD) and LEVOLIN 2puffs SOS. Besides T CEFTAS, T ALLERIO D.

She is with week imune never on hard ALLOPATHIC medicines and so far in last 9 yrs depending on Homopathy. Switch to above allopathy puffs etc will life long dependence this fear is hovering esp with side effects and tremor after taking them.

Plz advice sooner what to do with extending clarity to my mind.

By your history and description, possibility of asthma is more likely in your daughter 's case.
Best treatment of asthma is inhaled treatment.
Inhaled bronchodilators (formoterol or salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) (budesonide or fluticasone) is best for asthma.
Seroflo is having salmeterol and fluticasone.
It is appropriate for her disease.
Inhaled drugs act directly on lungs without causing systemic side effects. So inhaled drugs are very safe and effective for long term use.
Her tremors are mostly due to levolin. She can stop levolin and start duolin inhaler to prevent tremors.
So don't worry about habit formation and side effects of inhaler.
