Suggest Treatment For Cough And Pain In The Ribs

I was sick with bronchitis for about 12 days then around the 15th day I started to have pain in my ribs on the right side below my breast. The pain has only gotten worse in the last 6 days. It hurts when I breath, cough or even move. I am coughing up thick white mucus. What can I do for this

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done chest x ray and clinical examination of respiratory system.
Your complaints like pain on deep breathing and coughing suggest pleurisy (inflammation of pleura). And thick whitish expectoration suggest lower respiratory tract infection ( LRTI ).
Pneumonia can cause both pleurisy and LRTI.
So possibility of pneumonia is more in your case.
So get done chest x ray first to rule out this.
You may need antibiotics and bronchodilators too.
