Suggest Treatment For Coronary Artery Spasms

I have coronary artery spasms. I have had two heart caths, been in the ER several times, and had 3-4 medication changes in a year. My cardiologist completed my FMLA papers saying I shouldn't have to miss work due to this illness. Based on his answers on this form, I have to use my vacation time when I'm off sick. I can only use medical leave when a doctor determines I have an illness that warrants the use of medical leave. Is this normal for my condition?
