Suggest Treatment For Coronary Artery Spasms

Years ago I was diagnosed with coronary artery spasms. I would have about one a month. I carried nitro with me and used it as needed. About a year ago I let this prescription run out. Last month my echocardiogram showed an injection fraction of 20 - 25. Is there any connection?

Hi,

If you have no prior heart attack, 20-25 % ejection fraction is too low for you. If you had only coronary spasm once a month without heart attack, it couldn't lead to low ejection fraction.
I would advise you to undergo full cardiology examinations to find out the cause. 20-25% ejection fraction is serious finding. The cause should be treated as it can lead to heart failure. But at first make sure there is no mistake on your report.

Hope I could help you

Wish you good health
