Hello!

Thank you for your question on HCM!

Regarding your concern, your symptoms seem to be related to a tensive type headache. This is a common primary headache, caused by the contractions of the head muscles. The headache is typically like pressure and is relieved by physical activity.

As you refer, all your lab tests have resulted normal, which exclude other causes of continuous headache like a viral infection, or a chronic anemia.

I would recommend painkillers for some days and a lot of physical exercise.

If the symptoms persist, I would advise to consult with the neurologist for a careful physical examination. A brain CT scan may be needed if suspicions are raised during the physical examination for other intracranial causes of headaches.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings! Dr. Aida
