Suggest Treatment For Constipation After C Section

Hi my wife 34 years of age delivered a baby boy by C section (2nd deliveryby c section).After 10 day ,everything was normal,after changing the medicing for pain from diclogesic to diclogesic sp,heavy bleeding started then doctor started texakind mf,now bleeding is under control,but constipation started .please advice

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your 34 year old wife undergoing C-section, medicine was changed from Diclogesic to Diclogesic SP and had heavy bleeding which was controlled by Texakind MF but the constipation started.
I would advise you the following with reasoning:
Due to pregnancy and surgery or normal delivery most of the women get fissure or pile or changed bowel.
The addition of Diclogesic MF also adds to the problem.
Ask he to take Sitz bath at least twice daily.
mild laxative shall help solve the problem.
Avoid the foods and the beverages that are known to cause constipation.
Ask her not to strain while passing stool.
Ger examined by a General Surgeon to see the problem at the anus and get treated accordingly.
